I am a journal, with many inkblots,
Baring its papery back to the world.
Inside, the illustrations are faded,
The writing is small, the letters are blurred.
It's been left outside one too many times,
Pages curled in on themselves in the dew,
Their edges ruffled from humidity.
But peel through the sheets, and read the lines through.
They contain more than the thin binding shows,
And readers learn not to judge by covers,
Or by how well the ink sticks to the page.
Though the book's small, it's as good as another,
For every page it came with, there's one tacked
To the end - A few more blank pages to fill

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
